I fucking hate /r/PublicFreakout
Post Body

I need to vent.

I fucking hate /r/PublicFreakout. I used to enjoy grabbing some popcorn and watching crazy public meltdowns - legit public meltdowns, not just someone getting into a street fight, or someone having issues with mental illness.

But these days, the community is just a few notches shy of being /r/CringeAnarchy. Decency has been thrown out the window, the subreddit is just overrun with T_Ders, MRAs, gamergaters, etc.

Post involves black people? Guaranteed racism, probably some removed or downvoted comments dropping the N-bomb. Post involves a famous black person? Make a joke about how they look like another famous black person, because that's totally not racist, right?

Trans people? Don't even bother. You already know the kind of transphobic bullshit that will be in the comments before you even open it.

Women freaking out? Here come the MRAs (thanks Masstagger), shouting bullshit like "This is just yet another display of toxic femininity!" And you can bet your butts that if a woman hits a dude, and in retaliation gets knocked the fuck out, the post will be highly upvoted and the comments full of weirdo incels talking about how that bitch got what she deserved.

Post about Antifa? Comments full of T_Ders circlejerking about how much they fucking hate these pathetic commie LARPers who add nothing to society. Did the Antifa people in the video get injured? "Fuck yeah dude this is so fucking satisfying to watch" - MEANWHILE every time a Nazi getting punched is posted, the comment section is a fucking fight about how it's not okay to punch Nazis, you guys.

Maybe it's just gotten worse recently because the /r/CringeAnarchy losers are spreading out and settling down elsewhere, and I'm sure /r/PublicFreakout is prime real estate for them in this case.

Fuck /r/PublicFreakout
