Best cheap light for interviews? Tota, omni, or fluorescent softbox?
Post Body

I posted this in a few subs.

I need a good light for interviews. I’m trying to get more commercial and corporate work. I have some yongnuo led panels but they’re not giving me what I want. I used a wescott spiderlight the other day with one tungsten bulb around 100w. That seemed to work pretty well. My goal is to get one nice soft light then use my LEDs for fill/hair lights.

I love the tota but it doesn’t seem that easy to use, plus there’s no scrims right? I know the omni is pretty popular for folks on a budget.

A flourescent soft box seems to be a really great option for a key light. I can get a cheap impact fixture and softbox that allows up to 200w of output for around $100.

Overall my budget is $200 for a light with diffusion and bulbs. What would you get?
