Megathread for all things related to Blink. Questions, comments, concerns, traffic, observations, requests, pics, etc. Post them all here and have fun!
Went in 2019, 2022 and this year and can honestly say this year was incredible compared to other years. Sure there were some kinks with traffic (and I totally agree that all or at least most roads should be closed off next time - just saw too many dangerous “almost” incidents involving children, cars, and elderly folks in wheelchairs) - but for me, the quality of the projections, the sheer AMOUNT of installations/music/etc - seriously, there was something everywhere you looked this year!! - far outweighs any hassle I dealt with getting around.
To be fair I am a bit biased as I’ve lived here since 2018 and spent my first few years in the city living in OTR - traffic/crowds are something I just learned to accept as part of the process. But would love to see the parking/road situation fixed up before the next one rolls around, as it seems like every year it’s bringing more and more people out to our great city and I hate to hear that anyone missed out on a good time simply because of getting here or having navigation concerns!
Overall, incredible production that I’m grateful to have experienced, even with some oversights. Music Hall experience alone would have been worth it for me. Thank you to everyone who was a part of BLINK, organizing, creating, volunteering or even just participating. This event is one of my favorite things about living here and I feel incredibly lucky that we have it!
