Hello gang,

I now think it's time to discuss this topic. Everyone should have sent and received their secret santa gifts and be back to reading the sub again. If your your secret santee has not received his/her gift yet, let them know asap. I am now starting to collect the usernames of people who did not receive a gift. This was the first time we tried this and I'd like to see how it went for everyone. So, now's your chance. I welcome all feedback, but here's some of specific questions to get everyone started:

• Did you receive your gift on or prior to Christmas day?
• Was the information you received regarding your secret santee accurate?
• Do you feel that the cigar trade organizer did an adequate job in communicating the schedule and expectations for the secret santa?
• How can we make the process better?

There is already one thing I noticed that won't happen again the next time we do this. That is, we did not verify that the people who signed up had received their '[ ]' despite stating that this was a requirement. Since I had a hand in generating the messages the went out to the secret santas, I'll accept responsibility for not screening for this. This is not true. The requirement was that you needed to be a redditor for at least a month. See here for the post detailing the rules.

NOTE: If you did not receive a secret santa gift despite sending one out or know someone in this situation, please message the mods. Please do not discuss it here though, as I don't want this particular thread to turn into a witch hunt. We'll handle these cases separately.
