So first and formost i'm a new Cigar smoker. I had my first smoke few cigars a couple of weeks ago. Found I liked them ok and wanted to try more. I've watched a bunch of videos on how to light and smoke.
Onto my experience: I toasted the foot then when to puff a few times to get the thing lit. My first draw was shit ashy bitter taste. Very much like my first smokes were i got a wonderful burst of flavor. It did get some what better after the first third and I tried space out my draws to about a minute or so( I tend to smoke faster then I should) But the bitter taste never went away. And TBH it was a horrible tasting cigar.
So what did I do wrong this time? Did I maybe toast it too much? Or get the cherry too hot when lighting it proper? I just got the cigar Tuesday from an online retailer with some other cigars. Should I have given it more time to age a little? The shop I purchased it from shipped in a plastic seal-able bag and I tossed in a 69% humidity pack from Bovada in. Help me out here fellas
