Hygrometer calibration for tupperdore.

Post Body

I tried to calibrate 2 brand new xikar hygrometers (round). I put each in a ziplock with a small boveda 72 pack. 24 hours later the RH was in the mid 80’s for both. I added a second small boveda 72 to each ziplock and after another 25 hours, RH’s were 79 & 82.

I plan on using the hygrometers in 2 large Sistema (236oz) tupperwares so what I did next was add a large boveda 69 to one of them and a large boveda 65 to the other, hygrometers in each of course.

So my question here is, can I use the tupperware as a calibration method with the large boveda packs? I will keep monitoring it for a day or two but wanted to get some thoughts on this process.

Side note; indoor temperature is around 24C & hygrometer reading was in line with that.
