Can someone please help me navigate how to use this app as a woman?

I don’t understand. How do you figure out where the men are? Can they see what city I live? Are we doing global matching and we have absolutely no idea where either of us are in the world??? Also, I see some men’s profile where in addition to the prompts they answered they also have a bio written out about themselves. Plus information on their height and other things. How do I add that info to my profile? Also, how do I filter for only men looking for LTR?
