Calendar Widget?

Could somebody please clarify for me? I am slightly confused. My Chromebook has updated to the stable Version 96.0.4664.111 (Official Build) (32-bit). I thought that, with version 96, the calendar widget that pops up from the bottom right of the task bar was a part of this update?
