Brunch OS, Windows Laptops, and Android Apps/Play Store?

Post Body

Hi all! I'm hoping that someone/some people more knowledgeable than I on Chromebooks can help me. :)

A lot of GPT sites have offers where if you download the game on the Play Store via their site's link and get to level, say, 20 in-game, they pay you. As I'm a boring bastard with no real life at the moment, this is pretty much perfect for me. :)

However, instead of spending out a good chunk of cash for a Chromebook or an Android tablet, I've seen people discuss creating Chromebooks from old Windows laptops.

A 120GB SSD is pretty much dirt cheap these days, and that'd be all the memory storage needed for the apps. A stick of 4GB DDR3 SODIMM costs like £5.00 second-hand/refurbished, so again not breaking the bank, so-to-speak (I've got another stick around here somewhere, gathering dust: So, at least 6GB).

I've got an old Fujitsu Lifebook S7220. It has an Intel Core 2 Duo P8600, which came out roughly in ~2008? It's clocked at 2.40GHZ.

My questions are:

  1. Does Brunch OS run Android apps natively via the Play Store, as has been claimed by people
  2. Would Brunch OS run successfully on such an old processor? The speed is fast enough, but I'm wondering if it's too old?
  3. Would my Hackbook register as being an Android device or an emulated Android device (as it would using something like Bluestacks on PC)
  4. The CPU has integrated graphics, IIRC: If Brunch is installed, would that cause issues?
  5. Obviously there isn't a touch-screen: Would the laptop's track-pad suffice, and would said track-pad even be picked up (given the laptop's origin as a Windows device)?

Thank you all for any help you could give me. :)
