Hey guys, oldschool lamp stack dev here. I got a new 2019 ASUS chromebook with linux support so I could make myself a little on-the-go devbook. Developer mode enabled, terminal installed, apache2 installed AND running fine according to systemctl. The problem is when I browse to http://localhost I get a connection refused error.

I tried hostname -i which produced 127.0.1.1 (odd) so I tried manually browsing to that. Nope.

I've tried 127.0.0.1, 127.0.1.1, localhost, adding the :80 port, tried :8888 and :8080 just in case... Nope.

I have Googled extensively for this problem and can only find solutions from 3 years ago. Granted Debian still works the same but everyone just says "and hey it worked" but that part isn't meshing here. Anyone know why I'm unable to pull up localhost in my browser even with apache2 running just fine?

Thank you for you time!
