Good Morning, All,

My wife's laptop recently died, and I was considering getting her something running ChromeOS as a replacement.

(I am in the process of migrating my whole household from the Apple environment, FWIW)

She's an amateur photographer -- family shots of us, our baby, our surroundings, that type of stuff.

Is there a ChromeOS machine out there that is relatively fast and can handle minor photo editing.

Also, I am not looking to spend $900 ... for that, I would just stay in the Apple Environment and get her a baseline MacBook with upgraded RAM.
