NAMI baseboard Chromebooks and Android 9

I just got a Dell Inspiron 14 2-in-1, and I love it. However, I was wondering when the update to Android 9 would happen for it, as I wanted to use G-board for the input, which isn't quite....possible, without Android 9. Does anyone have any idea of the rollout schedule for Android 9 for the Inspiron, and similar baseboard models?
