Ahoy hoy everyone!
I'm no stranger to Chrome OS. I've been using Chromebooks since they first released, and as of now have 4 different Chrome OS devices in my house (2x ASUS Chrombox and 2x Chromebooks). As a father of 8 kids, having computers that are easy to log on/off, transfer settings/info from one to the other, are less concerned with a kid getting a virus, etc.. have been a lifesaver. I myself love to use them too, but there has always been one caveat, namely the lack of power or higher end specs.
Two years ago Google released the Chromebook Pixel, and I lusted over it like no other, but due to recently buying a new house, and all of the costs associated with making a house a home, it was not in the stars for me to own one.
Fast forward to two weeks ago, and Google releases two new versions of the Chromebook Pixel. The standard, and the LS. I'm a firm believer that if you're going to buy something, buy quality so you only have to purchase it once, so of course my eyes were set on the Pixel LS. Well as of an hour ago I placed an order for one, so now the horrible horrible HORRIBLE waiting game starts. It said it should ship within 2-3 weeks, which is going to be hell waiting for my new shiny.
Does anyone have the LS yet? If so, how has it compared to other Chrome OS devices you have owned (I already know the answer to this but I wanna hear more and talk about it lol). When did you order, and how long did it take for you to receive it? Any issues you have had with it so far?
