So my daily driver for a computer is an OG Pixelbook from 2017 I believe. It is the best laptop I have ever owned and has done everything I have asked it to but it is definitely showing its age and it is time for a replacement. I am not following the market as closely as I used, is their an equivalent in 2024? If not, what is the best chromebook out right now?
I mainly use the laptop to watch youtube videos, stream, and internet browse. Any help or suggestions is greatly appreciated!
There is no comparable replacement yet. I picked up a used HP dragonfly elite a few months ago thinking it would be my replacement answer. For the price I paid for the HP ($400), it's fine, but I would never pay full retail for it. Again, decent but still not close to the OG Pixelbook.
Keeping an eye out on the new Samsung device though. That one has my interest for sure.
