I'm guessing this is some sort of timeout "feature" of chrome to continually verify that the user still has control of the computer with the signed in Chrome instance.
Is there anyway to extend or remove this credential timeout?
Its very frustrating, occurring just often enough to annoy me. I only sign into Chrome on computers that are solely controlled by myself, and in the event the machine was stolen I would just force global sign out. When it first started happening credentials seemed to last weeks, now they seem to last a few days at most.
This is all somewhat ridiculous to me, because I'm far more concerned with the theft of my phone (which never times out) than a desktop and couple of laptops (that are password protected on the OS anyway)
While I realize that is a pretty low bar to overcome but I'm willing to accept the minor amount diminished security in exchange for not having to sign into Gmail every time I'm away from my PC for 2 or 3 days.
