Duplicate buttons in Duplex

I enabled Duplex (Duet I guess now) in Canary, but I'm getting Duplo buttons on the top and bottom bar such as home, tabs, and the three dot menu icon.
Is there some other flag I have to remove to hide them from the top so it's only a URL bar?
