So I’m 26F and matched with someone on Salt 23M. We had great conversations and even started following each other on IG. However, his life story feels… off. He says he was born in Morocco and adopted as a baby by a Norwegian couple and lived there for most of his life, he’s non-denominational, his grandfather was a missionary and now a pastor, his parents died in a car crash last year, his younger brother is still in Norway, he’s Norwegian special ops, served in Afghanistan, and is in America helping to train soldiers as a part of a NATO exchange. Crazy work. I barely get to talk with him and only talked on a phone call once. As someone who wants to re-enlist (I got medically discharged at FJ reception), I find all this really suspicious. Who even knows if the person I’m talking to is the same person in the pictures?!? Oh, and he doesn’t have a profile pic on IG just 2 pics and some followers. Any advice is welcome. I’m just getting back into the dating scene after 4 years.
