Chin resting position- does it matter?

Okay this may be an extremely dumb question, so forgive me if it is😅
BUT- does the position you rest your chin during healing matter? As in- straight ahead or up rather than pointed down towards your chest? I find I have it pointed down a lot of the time (during sleep/looking down at my phone/etc) and am wondering if I’m messing up my healing!
