I am looking for a recommendation for a city to live in China that is between Beijing and Shanghai that speaks mandarin on the streets, has a beach you can tan and swim in and maybe play volleyball, maybe some hills/mountains close by, or is just beautiful and also has things for young people to do?

Post Body

I am looking to live in China for one year to become fully fluent in mandarin chinese that I am learning now. I am looking for a nice beach town between Beijing and Shanghai where there are lots of nice things to do in the town and in nature. I really like to swim in the ocean and tan and to play beach volleyball if possible.

My current level of mandarin is A2 and I hope to have it at B2-C1 after my full year in China. What is a good city that would be great to make friends in and where there is places to go dancing or sing kareoke and nice restaurants? I really want a city that speaks actual Mandarin on the streets and not a Wu language or other chinese language.

Any good recommendations for a city like this?
