Hey everyone,
I'm facing a frustrating issue with Chime and could use some advice. Recently, I noticed six unauthorized transactions on my account from Samsclub.com, all made around 4 am while I was asleep. I immediately disputed the charges and provided evidence from my Sam's membership transaction history. Chime refunded me for only one transaction and denied the other five, even though all six were made at the same time with the same merchant.
I appealed their decision, but it was denied again. Chime's customer service has been incredibly unhelpful, and even the supervisors have been dismissive. I've been with Chime for seven years, and this experience is extremely disappointing, especially since I've trusted them with significant amounts of money.
Today, a supervisor in the fraud department told me they couldn't help me and then hung up on me. This lack of accountability is frustrating, and I'm considering filing complaints with the CFPB and OCC.
Has anyone else had similar experiences with Chime? What steps did you take to resolve it? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
