Maybe we're all over complicating this hunt for the jetpack and solving the Chilliad mystery? Dissecting code, following intricate paths, having 100 different theories in circulation. What if its more simple than that? heres my theory:

When looking at the Chilliad mural there are 5 'X's. Stereotypically 'X's "mark the spot" on a map. The lines; resemble a road network. My theory is simple, the mural represents part of Los Santos. The lines will match the roads on part of the map and when overlaid on top the 'X's will lead us to 5 points of interest that need discovering in our quest to solve the mystery.

I tested this theory out myself yesterday, not having 100% in the next gen version of the game I turned to the community to help me out a bit. (See my previous post here). I turned to photoshop to edit the mural and started placing it over bits of the map, figuring this would take ages to find a bit that matched, I looked to clue's we already know. I placed the UFO (at the top of the mural) where the artificial UFO in the building is on West Vinewood. Then I followed the roads to each 'X' to see what I would find (my map here). All the lines seemed to fit roads, and each 'X' led to a building. 2 of the 'X's led me to buildings with estate agent signs with phone numbers on them, which directs back to my previous post...

Maybe the most significant find was: * The jetpack symbol led to the CNT broadcasting building. * The UFO symbol to an open garage. * And most of all the egg leads to a power plant which has an interactive door, where you can go in and explore. Which then had me thinking; does this resemble the lightning bolts around the mural?
