So one of the main reasons I am choosing to get sterilized (My procedure is tomorrow!!!) is because I have Crohnâs disease. My mother has Crohnâs disease as well.
At the time I was born, my mom didnât know she had it. She told me, âHad I known I had Crohnâs, I would have given birth to you or your sisterâ.
âLuckilyâ, I was diagnosed at 21 so I have been given the chance to make the decision to not pass on this awful disease⌠Anyone else make their decision based on the fact they have some sort of genetic illness?
