Post Body

So one of the main reasons I am choosing to get sterilized (My procedure is tomorrow!!!) is because I have Crohn’s disease. My mother has Crohn’s disease as well.

At the time I was born, my mom didn’t know she had it. She told me, “Had I known I had Crohn’s, I would have given birth to you or your sister”.

“Luckily”, I was diagnosed at 21 so I have been given the chance to make the decision to not pass on this awful disease… Anyone else make their decision based on the fact they have some sort of genetic illness?
