I noticed if I am having a conversation with someone while there is a screaming child at their feet, a crying child on a Zoom call, or a crying child in the background of a telephone there is a trick. It may not work everytime but I have found some success.
The trick is simple - just do not raise your voice while speaking. In fact, lower your voice (but barely so they do not notice). Breeders are used to people speaking louder over crying kids and when you do not they will magically find a way to make the child shush so they can hear you. For whatever reason they want to be polite and realize in the moment how inappropriate the yelling is (from the kid). Not only do you avoid confrontation, you also don't get blamed for the volume. Aaaand Breeders do not realize itβs on purpose.
This trick has done wonders especially on Zoom calls. Best of luck, CF peeps. βπΌ
