My coworker was looking very depressed today and I checked in with him. Evidently he and his girlfriend had the talk about kids last night. He wants kids and she does not. He told me he's always wanted children and has been open about it since they started dating. She hasn't wanted kids ever. Not having children is just as important as wanting to have children. He's super down about it and almost started crying. I'm not here to shit on the poor guy or anything else. I just know how we feel here about not having kids is just as strong as how others want kids. A mismatched relationship about having children is impossible as there is no compromise. This is just an example of how non cf and cf people cannot have long term relationships.
