Anyone else immediately turned off at the mention of children?

Post Body

Not gonna lie I’ve had so many occasions when I’ll be excited about an event and then I start reading about it and it all goes down hill when I see phrases like “Fun for the whole family” “family friendly” or “kids activities. Recently wanted to go to a Halloween event only to find it will probably be ruined fucking families and their annoying ass fuck kids.

Even friends of mine occasionally invite me and my bf to events with their friends who no doubt will show up with their kids. This literally makes me just not want to come. I honestly get irritated that the default is for everything to be child inclusive. Why can’t the default be adult only with select kid friendly events and venues!?

This especially bothers me with hotels, festivals, and nice restaurants. I just want to enjoy myself with needing to hear their banshee children screaming and being rude obnoxious EVERYWHERE I GO😡 don’t even get me started on the damn pregnancy announcements

Am I being extra? Does anyone else seriously get irritated the second children pop into the picture?
