As I (28m) type this, I'm currently sat in a hospital room recovering from my vasectomy.
To my surprise, throughout the entire process, starting with the initial consultation to now, not a single person gave me a bingo. Everyone involved has been extremely understanding and professional, even when they realised that my partner and I have no kids and want to remain that way.
I'll admit, a small part of me is a little disappointed that I didn't get bingoed because I had armed myself with every reverse uno card I could think of and I didn't get to use them once. A small price to pay for not having to justify my reasonings I suppose.
Overall, the experience has been surprisingly good, the procedure itself was only about 20 mins and I'd recommend it to any guy who's 100% sure about living the childfree life to save their partner from having to go through hormone changing contraceptives or procedures.
(The worst part was the antiseptic they used after. It stings like a bitch but it stings less than the thought of having, and looking after, a kid for 18 years!)
