So I was talking to my adoptive dad about how I thought it was so much harder to have a hysterectomy or any form of permanent birth control. Then I went on about how if your deemed not ‘mentally stable’ you can’t get it. Which I think is bullshit because if I can’t make decisions for myself I shouldn’t be able to make decisions for a tiny human. Then this motherfucker say and I quote “People who get hysterectomies are selfish and lazy, and that includes you if you are thinking of getting one” which kinda scared me because of how he said it and he said he supports abortions so I thought he was pro-choice and pro doing whatever the fuck you want with your own body.

I asked him to explain why he thought that women who didn’t want children was ‘selfish and lazy’ I cannot make this up he literally said “Selfish because you are not bringing the next generation into this world and lazy because there are other alternatives like birth control” Then to put more fuel in the fire he said “You have the ability to create children and your throwing it away like some unused toy. You are making a life altering decision that you can’t take back and it changes the course of your life forever.” I got up and left after that because I couldn’t talk him down and rationally explain everything about over population, child birth not being a gift, children not being blessing, oh and yeah I almost forgot. I don’t want children.

On the more humorous side, right as I was leaving he said “If you get a hysterectomy mark my words you WILL regret it for the rest of your life” and I thought ‘bet’ and walked away. Fucking breeders man! Also thanks for listening to my rant.
