Before I start sorry for being mobile bound and any bad words but most of you are adults so i think you can deal.

I had just went over my finances to find that I had saved over 200$ from last month. So for a reward for being so frugal I went to Target to get something nice. Now my plan was to get those cool looking plasma balls for my girlfriend cause she likes science stuff but they were all gone. Crap! So I linger in the toy section avoiding a tolerable amount of unsupervised children and happen upon the oddly empty lego aisle (empty as there wasn't any people in the aisle, it was strange) I love legos, so i start look at the really complicated sets debating if i like harry potter or star wars enough to justify me building the set, when this kid out of nowhere sneaks up on me.

Kid "Cool are you going to buy that?"

Me "I don't know I'm thinking about it." (holding the star wars ship set)

Kid "Why?"

Me "uh well im only going to use it once really, i won't want to take it apart after i finish it."

The kid seemed to get that but then who i can only assume is her mom come rolling in the aisle, kinda winded.

Mom: Kid! I told you stay close to me. Don't bother her

Me: Nah she's fine, no bother.

Kid: Mom can I get some legos too?

Mom: No those are boy toys we can get something else from the other aisle.

Kid: But she's getting legos!

Mom: They're probably for her son Kid, no lets go.

Me: Uh no.. I don't have any kids.

Mom: ...huh?

Me: I don't have any kids, and just fyi there's no such thing as boy toys.

Mom: If you don't kids, why are you buying that thing?

Me: Because i can, and i want it.

The mom then grabs the kid and says "You should really grow up." And walks off

Well fuck you too lady and im sorry your kid has such a bitch for a mom. Now i in fact didn't get the set but instead bought two little 3 in 1 build sets and if i ever see that kid again I'm going to give it to her cause she was nice.
