My 28 year old niece (my sister started young lol) has a nearly 2 year old son. She’s already struggling heavily with him in several ways. For instance, when she and her boyfriend got Covid, they refused to quarantine with their own son because it was inconvenient. They made the grandparents watch him instead. And that’s just one in a list of things. Anyways, found out yesterday that my niece is pregnant again. She’s freaking out. She does NOT want another kid.
So I offered to help her with an abortion. I am now being considered a complete asshole by both my mother and sister. Apparently I am “treating this like a dental appointment instead of what it really is”.
Personally, I’m just trying to give the 2 year old a better shot at having better parents. Another kid will make their current situation even worse.
So, if I pay for and take my niece for the abortion, my mother and sister won’t have anything to do with me. I can’t believe this. It’s not even my pregnancy but somehow I am now responsible.
TL:DR My niece is pregnant again and wants an abortion. Family is mad at me for supporting her.
