Post Body

So my best friend has a 3 month old and acts like they can never do anything-no matter how big or how small. His wife is super cool and would happily say hey man go ahead and do whatever but all he does is use the baby as an excuse to never do anything.

I am slowly coming to grips with the reality that Our friendship is probably not going to be the same. As his kid gets older it will only be invites to kid related stuff, hearing about the kids, blah blah blah.

I love kids-have 2 nieces and a nephew but my sister and brother never acted like they were all of a sudden too busy for everyone.

It is really annoying me right now and I stumbled upon this sub and wanted to vent. Maybe it is just the first time parent “I am going to act like this is so much better/more important than anything any person without kids” thing or maybe he is just overwhelmed by it all-but seeing several people raise kids and still make time for others is why it is hard. Feeling like I just lost my best friend.
