Majorly selfish reason I'm CF, I think at least?

I'll keep it simple.
One of the many reasons I'm CF is because I would die inside if, say, my hypothetical girlfriend/wife and I ended up having a child only for all her attention, love, affection and interest to be aimed at said-child, and for my life-partner to completely fall out of love with me. Over a kid.
Does anyone else share this reason with me? Deciding to be CF incase their partner just changed completely overnight and didn't care about you anymore, only the crotch-spawn you made together.
