Looks like I'll be snowboarding solo come next winter... sigh. My best friend of 20 years, my mountain companion every weekend, has recently told me they are now expecting in September. This completely blindsided me, as they have been CF for 9 years now. We had plans to go many places as the 4 of us. All thrown out the fucking window. Why you may ask? "Gotta please the in laws". Ffs. In a time when producing less people is better for the world, why the FUCK is this still a reason to have children?? Who's life are you living? It certainly isnt your own! Fuck. I'm pissed. He is being cute about it because I asked about our may long camping trip that's already booked and paid for, wither it was still happening. I get back " we ain't letting no kid get in the way of life" yeah. Okay. Just like all my other friends that acted the same and I no longer see.
