It’s kind of petty for me to be annoyed by this, but damnit, it irks me.
Recently I saw a post a Facebook friend I graduated high school with (a mom) shared. It was a photo of a parking lot, with the parking space next to the shopping cart return circled. The caption read, “you know you’re a mom when this is your favorite parking spot!”
It got a bunch of “haha” reacts and other moms we graduated with were commenting things like “sooooo true!” And I was sitting there like...what?! I’m not a mom and that’s the parking space I always aim for too...lol. It’s just a matter of practicality. I can always remember where I parked and I don’t have to go far to return my cart. It’s not a “mom” thing, it’s just being a human person.
It’s not the first time I’ve seen stuff like that either. It’s all so stupid to me. Like, “you know you’re a mom when you have to go grocery shopping and drive your car everywhere and do laundry!” Eye-roll.
