So, this book (Monkey Mind by Daniel Smith) has nothing to do with kids. It is a well-written, comedic memoir and investigative piece on anxiety (and I highly recommend anyone reads it for general pleasure and learning!) But I fell upon a quote that reminded me of this community and thought y'all would enjoy it. Taken from page 178:
"During those times when I am berating myself for all that I've done wrong, all the mistakes I believe I've made, I call Scott and he reminds me that the only choices that have permanent consequences are creating life and ending it."
