Twas the night before Christmas, And all through the house, The children were screaming, Like a large dying mouse,
The portrait was dreary, Yet the parents still swooned, The mothers were weary, Yet their eyes still mooned,
They dreamed of peace, Amidst this insanity, They dreamed of fleece, As they muttered profanity,
“This is true joy,” They uttered to me, “You’re still just a boy,” I’m almost 23,
Among all the madness, An aura of stress, In this season of gladness, A truth of much less,
Yet it makes me smile, As I know I’ll be free, This will just be a while, Since I’m childfree,
Hot coco by the fire, Near a clean Christmas tree, A beautiful choir, From my 60” tv,
Nice quiet bliss, In this season of love, A wonderful wife, Is what I dream of,
I’m very grateful, For our community, And for the great gift, That you’ve all given me,
Merry Christmas Everyone! :)
