Good evening fellow norm violators.
An essential part of my personality is focused around careerism. It’s my top priority in life, and it was a massive factor in my choosing to be childfree. To me, personal success and accomplishment far outweigh children.
There’s a stereotype that many childfree people do so because they choose career over family. Whether or not this is true, I think there is some merit to the concept.
How many of you are childfree because of careerism, or have careerism as a top priority?
