I'm hoping theres a chance for 21 year old female me. I've chosen tube removal and endometrial ablation (burning the lining of the uterus) I have heavy periods. After 10 years of BC pills I want to be done! Appointment on Friday.

I plan on asking about a hysterectomy first because my mom had to have one and her mother along with all 5 of her sisters needed one.

I'd rather get it done before theres an issue with cancer or endometriosis. Those run in the family. One of the many reasons why we are CF is because muscular dystrophy, bradycardia, enlarged heart etc. Run in our families. Maybe I should write my OB a letter because I'm not very aggressive in person.

So what did you opt for, what was it like and how old were you?
