Over the holidays some of my nieces got sick, we had vote wheather to let them come over on boxing day as they were bored my brother told us the kids had a slight cough and it wasn't that bad okay so we let them come over it can't be that bad. A week later I have come down with a horrible head cold, ive had to cancel work for this first week and rang in the new year sick. While I work in childcare and have had a few colds throughout the past couple months this time it was my nieces and nephew. And I just cant help but think why would you ever want kids if all they do is constantly get sick especially in the winter its a constant thing and they seem to do anything to combat it. I digress simply put i couldn't imagine being a parent having to constantly battle flu after cold after flu. That just seems awful especially if you have kid like my 4yr neice who is incredibly whiny and cries at everything. No part of that seems like it's worth it to become a parent no thank you. I can hardly handle myself when I'm sick.
