A popular bingo I hear is "well when all your friends will start having kids, you will be left behind!". And I notice that the older I get, and the more control I have over who I spend my time with and who I'm friends with, I attract a lot of other people who are like me - childfree, queer, not into marriage, cisheteronormative life or relationships escalators at all. Amongst all of my friends now, people who are married/want to get married and people who have children/want to have kids are the extreme minority. I notice it's much harder for me to have common friendship grounds with parents/wannabe parents, because we have such different values (which are reflected in our different choices around having kids). Parents/wannabe parents tend to be more conservative, not question lifescript and just generally not my vibe. Most of my friends are CF & not into traditional life, just like me - and we intend to grow older and live life as a CF gang together!

Anybody else found their CF gang?
