So there's one thing I've always wondered about a bisalp. FWIW I had one almost a year ago and am very pleased with the outcome.
Anyway, I hope this isnt a stupid question. But my question is this: How does the surgeon close the holes on either end, where the fallopian tubes were connected to the ovaries and uterus? I mean, once they remove the fallopian tubes and disconnect them on each side, what happens to those holes? Are they sewn shut? Cauterized shut and then they scar over? What are the chances of the closure method failing or leaking?
TIA!
