Hi all, Like many of you, I really really don’t want children and I’m scared of falling pregnant on my wedding night 😭 in the future, not just that but for many reasons I despise children.
I’ve been looking into female sterilisation and I have a few questions for those who have had it.
I know many doctors are reluctant to perform it on someone so young but is that the same for private doctors? (For context I’m in the UK so we have free healthcare or you can pay to go privately).
How much was it?, I’m getting stuff online that says between £3K-£5K
Is it 100% affective for stopping pregnancy?
And finally, is there any places I can read up on the side effects etc? As much as I want the surgery, I feel it’s necessary to understand the full “scope” of it all like informed consent
Kind regards
