Hey friends!

I'm scheduled for bisalp tomorrow morning (9am). They called me 4:30pm saying the bill will be $8k. I have a gold PPO plan and I'm shocked to say the least and devastated to think that all this hard work finding a doctor and waiting has been foiled. Is this what you experienced too? I'm on hold with insurance at the moment but the customer service rep seems to think it might be accurate.

Update! So I asked my surgeon if she could code as Tubal Ligation and she agreed. I didn't get any other paperwork so 🤞 it works out. I know for sure my insurance covers TL 100%.
