"not having kids just because you don't like them is selfish!" no, it isn't. even if you don't care about the potential parents quality of life (which you should), kids can always and will always tell when they aren't wanted. you can fake it as much as you want but they know. they can feel the resentment. if you care so much about kids, don't force people who don't want kids to have them. no kid who grew up feeling resented is perfectly mentally happy now. best case scenario they have slight trust issues and will always ask for reassurance from everyone, worst case scenario they form a disorder like BPD because mom obviously didn't want them.
