I am so grateful to not have children today.
This morning I woke up at 5 by choice to paint and do my morning zen routine in the peace and quiet.
I went to work and hung out with some coworkers afterwards with no time restraints or limitations at all.
Now, I just cooked myself my favorite Korean BBQ dish. No extra preparations, complaining, or child dishes to do. I simultaneously have six bread loaves in the oven to gift to my new bosses and staff that I baked from scratch (and love doing). No children are running around and spilling flour. My favorite music is playing and there are no kids yelling over it or complaining.
Now I am going to wash the dishes and get to choose what movie to watch while I smoke a bowl in my underwear on the sofa. And eat snacks I don’t have to share with grimy fingers. Nutella? Pancakes? Cookies? Doesn’t matter because no kids! Then I can decide my own bedtime later.
Grateful for days like today. I can just exist at peace without caring for a tiny human. ✌️Thank you for reading, who else can relate? 😎
