ok I'm tired and overstimulated so this may be gibberish
why do parents act like their kids DESERVE to be everywhere? like today I was talking about how I would really like an at least 16 restaurant and one of the people in my life with kids is like "well that's not fair to kids or their parents!" there are thousands of places that cater to kids, thousands of places JUST FOR KIDS. why is it so terrible to make a place that isn't for kids? I don't know many 16 , 18 or 21 places that aren't centered around drugs, sex, alcohol or gambling if I'm being honest, why can't I go somewhere to have a nice dinner without kids? I can name so many times a kid has ruined my dining experience and their parent didn't do anything, it's usually not even the kids fault it's the shitty parenting but it's still exhausting having to walk on eggshells because they don't want to watch their crotch goblin. I've had little kids run around a restaurant, one that was nice, and their parents didn't do anything. I've seen kids pour condiments on people they don't know. not to mention the screaming and crying. if I'm on a date I don't want to have to talk over your kid who's screaming because the menu doesn't have chicken tenders.
places I would like to be child free
- restaurants
- certain flights
- librarys
- an arcade (I want an adult arcade so bad)
- resorts and other vacation places
- a singular day or week at theme parks with no kids or at least no kids under 14
- cruises
