Disclaimer: this is my personal experience, and it may very well be more of an 'age' thing. I'd be curious to hear the perspective from persons of any gender (or no gender) who are on the apps tl date men.
I find dating apps to be especially frustrating as a single, 44 y/o child free male, who is looking to be a partnered child free male.
By far, the number of child free women who list themselves as not wanting kids are 35 or younger. I personally have my age range set from 32 - 50. Once you get to 40 , I'd say the overwhelming majority of the women either have kids, and want more, or have none, and want kids. And many also want to 'travel the world'.
Right. You'll pop out some babies at 44, and we'll go travel the world......? When were 65?
And maybe men do this too, but I find more than a few women won't list themselves as having kids amongst their basic stats that show up for filtering, but then have a prompt or comment in their profile about how their kid(s) 'is/are their whole world'. I mean, maybe you only wasted 2 minutes of my time, but I still find that frustrating.
OK.
