Has anyone had a mature hen (~1 year old) take a brief "break" from laying, then get back to it a few months later?

We have 7 mature hens now and 5 hens that are 14 weeks old and all of the sudden got a blue egg. Now we have an Americauna that we think had blue eggs, but over the winter....no blue eggs.

We figured it was a bit early for the Olive Egger to be laying so when I saw my fluffy necked Americauna friend not in the run, I peeked in and saw her in the box for the first time in a long time! (Also a different "less preferred" box 🤣)

We just got rid of the rooster, so is it maybe that she is less stressed? She was one that was getting beat up badly by him; hence the shipping to a new farm. (He is alive and loving his new digs)

Thoughts?
