I am sure we are going to get a lot of opinions and advice so please provide:
We have had a Broody hen sitting on a few eggs for about 19 days, however, unfortunately she got nabbed last night by a critter before we shut the coop door. Yes, we messed up by not doing our due diligence; we get that it is our fault, really.
However, we currently have some eggs peeping in a tote with a heat lamp and a humidifier - too late to get a true incubator. Theoretically, they should hatch today or tomorrow so is there anything else we should do to give them the best chance for survival?
Thank you in advance!
UPDATE: We have baby chicks! They all hatched! Now hope they aren't all roosters 🤣
