We use to go biking together. We use to stop and share music. When everyone else was into Facebook, we use to be really into rock music. You use to say I looked like David Grohl. I use to call you a Tom boy but you claimed you were straight. I'd say I dunno but you have my respect.
You're the only girl I knew that knew how to just shut up and watch a movie. You were one of the few who could drop their phone and have an awesome conversation even with complete strangers. You were pretty and everyone thought you were taken [including me]. Sometimes you'd call me up and have this devious adventure in mind. You knew I'd be up for it.
You were a true friend, you helped me outta the mud once even though you got dirt on your clothes. You managed to make my other friends jealous.
They would always ask why I wanted to do things with you instead of them and I would answer "She likes going out instead of staying in all day". They'd have nothing else to say.
Sure we started no book clubs but you and I could talk about rapid propulsion of certain undergarments and laugh out loud. I wonder whether you're still out there and up to no good.
We could've been like Mr. and Mrs. Smith but strictly platonic, of course. Maybe we could still be. Does this remind you of yourself or someone familiar?
