Before the pandemic, I was good about going to the gym and in the best shape I’ve ever been in. This is largely due to my friends guidance and company. She’d tell me what to do, and I’d keep her company. It was a win-win situation. Our schedules aligned, we lived near each other, and we were consistent.
I’ve been spoiled rotten. Life happens, my friend now lives too far away, and I have yet to find someone who wants to workout this way.
I know the results that lifting and then some cardio can do for me, but I really hate working out by myself. I would do personal training, but that is just not feasible at this time.
I am looking for a gym buddy for early mornings (I am talking 5:30 am/6 am workouts) 5 days a week. I have a membership at one of the main chains. Ideally you: are knowledgeable about working out, looking for a gym buddy, close to my age (27-35), live in a close neighborhood. When the weather gets better, walks or jogs on lakefront would be fun.
